What’s in each plan.
The full feature inventory mapped to each tier. Everything in the platform; nothing held back behind silent feature flags.
| Feature | Basic | Advanced | Pro | Govrequest |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tracking & live monitoring | ||||
| Live trackingNear-real-time refresh on the active subject; idle devices coalesce. Refresh rate depends on the device firmware and cellular carrier (typically 1–3 s). | ||||
| Reverse geocodingEvery position is reverse-geocoded on arrival. | ||||
| Battery + GSM-signal displayPer-device battery percentage + 0/31 GSM signal in the live map and on the device-detail panel. | ||||
| Stops + trips detectionStops detected from velocity + dwell; trips are segments between stops. | ||||
| GeofencesPolygon and radius zones with day-of-week / time-of-day schedules. | ||||
| Route-corridor alertsDefine a corridor along a planned route; deviations beyond a threshold raise an alert. | ||||
| Theft-recovery modeHigh-frequency reporting + escalation to nominated recovery contact. In development. | In dev | In dev | In dev | |
| Blind-spot replay timelineCoverage gaps shown explicitly on the timeline — no silent extrapolation. | ||||
| Battery remaining-life projectionLinear regression on the last 24h of per-position battery readings, with charge-event-aware segmenting. Renders as '~N days remaining at current usage' in the device-detail sidebar. | ||||
| Analytics & detection | ||||
| Anomaly detection (heuristic)Deviation, dwell-time, signal-loss patterns surfaced as a reviewable feed. Heuristic-only at Advanced; AI-explained at Pro. | ||||
| Counter-surveillance heuristicsTail vehicles, repeated co-location, parallel-track detection. Same engine as anomaly detection; detector set in early access. | Early access | Early access | Early access | |
| Intelligent monitoring — anomaly pushAnomalies pushed to your phone the moment they fire, with the AI narrative (Pro+) or a short templated alert (Advanced) in the body. Built-in fatigue prevention: per-device severity threshold (default high+critical), 23:00-07:00 quiet hours (critical bypasses), rate limit (default 3/h/device), per-case mute, and smart bundling (≥5 anomalies in 5 min collapse to one push). PII discipline: pseudonym + locality only — never street addresses or real names. | ||||
| Live packet viewer + raw inspectorDrill from the case view down to the originating TCP frame from the device. Renders parsed fields for both the classic LK ASCII protocol AND the newer JT/T 808 (HDLC-framed binary) used by TK905-4G-class devices — no separate inspector for each wire format. | ||||
| AI intelligence | ||||
| Pattern-of-life intelligenceNightly per-subject routine baseline (anchor locations, return-home times, frequent journeys); deviations surfaced within 30 seconds of the data arriving. Pro tier gets the alerts; Gov tier gets multi-subject correlation on top. | ||||
| AI anomaly explanationsEach anomaly carries a Claude-generated explanation in plain English, citing the contributing positions and suggesting follow-ups. Replaces the bare 'unusual dwell at 14:30' line with a one-paragraph narrative an operator (or a client) can act on. | ||||
| AI-narrated daily briefsCourt-ready signed PDF of every active case, generated at 07:00 in the operator's timezone. Structured sections (movement summary, stops table, anomalies + journey events) plus an AI-written narrative section + 3-5 suggested follow-ups turning the data into a forwardable story. PII discipline: pseudonyms only, localities (not addresses). Same Ed25519 signing as evidence packs. Postmark delivery to the case's operator and (with consent) client recipients. | ||||
| Natural-language case watchesTell the AI what to watch for in plain English — 'push me if Subject A exceeds 50mph or if a second subject comes within 500m'. The AI translates your request into temporary watch rules monitoring the case for the conditions you specified. Closed taxonomy (geofence, speed, dwell, proximity, anomaly-forward, silence) so the AI can't invent rules it can't actually evaluate. Auto-expires after 24h (configurable up to 7 days), or stop manually anytime. Triggers route through the existing intelligent-monitoring push pipeline (fatigue gates + PII strip + audit) — watches are a virtual anomaly source, not a parallel push system. | ||||
| Journey-aware push intelligencePushes that read like an analyst's shoulder-tap, not a position feed. The system understands the subject is on a journey from anchor A toward (probably) anchor B, narrates it in plain English ('Subject A — Left Home (Purley). Heading NE on A23, 35 km/h. Likely destination: Work — ETA ~14 min.'), and only fires on meaningful events: trip start, predicted-destination change, significant deviation, unusual arrival, overdue journey, mid-trip tracker silence. trip_started bypasses quiet hours by default (subject leaving home at 02:00 is precisely when an operator wants to know). Replaces position-aware push for Pro+; Advanced continues with the existing anomaly push. | ||||
| Journey-event history + signed CSV exportEvery journey event + anomaly persists with its narrative, push status, and acknowledgement trail. Per-device and org-wide views with date-range + class filters. CSV export signed with the same Ed25519 pipeline as evidence packs — the export is itself a court-grade artifact proving 'these were the alerts received during this period.' No range cap; UI hints when the chosen range will produce a large file. | ||||
| Stop-purpose classificationEach detected stop gets a label (home / work / unfamiliar / commercial / transit) backed by an AI classifier reading the operator-visible address + frequency context. Locked subjects show the label only; unlocked operators see the AI's reasoning. | ||||
| AI operator handoff briefingOne-click AI-generated briefing for an operator new to a case — subject patterns, last 7 days, unresolved anomalies, authorisation status, what to watch for. Produces a signed PDF audit artifact. ~3-minute read instead of a 30-minute handover call. | ||||
| Conversational case AIAsk questions of a case — 'where did subject X spend Tuesday evening?' — and Claude answers from the structured case data with citations back into the timeline. Same evidence-grade audit trail as a manual export. | Early access | Early access | ||
| AI report draftingTurn a case folder into a court-ready first-draft report. The operator reviews + signs; the AI handles the structure (chronology, dwell heatmap captions, anomalies summary, evidence-pack references). | Early access | Early access | ||
| Bring-your-own Anthropic keyUse your own Anthropic API key for the AI features above — keeps inference under your billing / governance / data-handling regime. Optional on Pro, required on Gov. | Optional | Required | ||
| Multi-subject correlationPattern-of-life across multiple subjects in the same case — co-location windows, parallel-track signatures, return-home synchrony. Surfaces the network around a subject without leaving the audited workspace. | In dev | |||
| Predictive movement modellingProbabilistic next-location forecasts based on the subject's baseline + recent trajectory. Gov-only; AI-explained; audit-traceable. | In dev | |||
| Evidence & disclosure | ||||
| Signed PDF evidence packEd25519-signed export with manifest of artefacts. Two artefacts on Advanced+: chain-of-custody Evidence Pack (audit-grade attachment) and Briefing Pack (readable narrative for counsel/clients with rendered map, dwell heatmap, trip charts). Both bundle into court papers; both verifiable independently against the public key on /security. Basic gets single-trip exports only. | Single-trip | |||
| Case foldersMulti-device, multi-subject grouping with full chain-of-custody on every artefact. | ||||
| Disclosure bundle (redacted)Generate a redacted variant of any evidence pack for disclosure to the other side: coordinates rounded to ~100 m, addresses trimmed to locality + postcode area, hardware IDs masked. Same Ed25519-signed PDF pipeline as the unredacted pack. | ||||
| Bulk data exportDownload positions, stops, and trips as standard formats — load into QGIS, Google Earth, or Excel without leaving the audit chain. Basic includes CSV export; Advanced and up add GPX + KML. TKSTAR-shape coords-only CSV available for migrators. Every export writes a chain-linked audit row (action: case.exported); 24-hour rate-limit shared with PDF generation so abuse via either path is bounded. | CSV | CSV + GPX + KML | CSV + GPX + KML | CSV + GPX + KML |
| Templated daily briefsStructured signed PDF of every active case at 07:00 — movement summary, stops table, anomalies. No AI narrative section on Advanced (the AI-narrated version lives at the Pro tier). Same Ed25519 signing as evidence packs; same Postmark delivery channel. | Early access | |||
| Insurance loss-recovery exportSigned PDF report scoped to a single incident — designed for the loss adjuster. Thin template over the evidence-pack pipeline. In development. | In dev | In dev | In dev | |
| Authorisation & legal regime | ||||
| RIPA s.28 / s.29 authorisationsCapture authorisation type, granting officer, scope, duration. Expiry warnings on every relevant view. | ||||
| IPA Part 3 authorisationCapture warrant type, issuing body, scope, duration. Authorisation drives operator data visibility. Part 3 live; Parts 4/5/6 in development. | ||||
| IPA Part 4 / 5 / 6 supportEquipment-interference, bulk and other extended IPA authorisation types. In development. | In dev | |||
| Court-order authorisationFirst-class authorisation kind for court-issued surveillance orders. | ||||
| Production-order authorisationCross-jurisdictional production orders as a separate authorisation kind. In development. | In dev | |||
| Two-person unmaskPseudonymised subjects unmask only with a second authorised operator co-sign. Both signatures audited as severity:critical events; the cleartext token is one-shot, transmitted out-of-band by the cosigner, and expires after 15 minutes. | ||||
| Geographic scopingRestrict an authorisation to a polygon, corridor, or named jurisdiction. Out-of-scope positions redacted. In development. | In dev | |||
| Operator workflow | ||||
| SMS device onboarding wizardType the tracker SIM phone number; the wizard infers the UK carrier and suggests the right APN. Copy four SMSes into your phone, send to the tracker, walk the LED diagnostic. ~3 minutes for a stock TKSTAR-family device. If something goes wrong, the wizard automatically offers an alternative command syntax and — if that also fails — submits a diagnostic bundle to K3K support with the operator's reference number. No USB cable, no laptop, no case-opening. | ||||
| SMS command consoleCompose wire-format tracker SMS commands from the panel — change server, force upload, restart, set APN, factory-reset, change password. Sent from the operator's own phone (no per-message bill), audited end-to-end. | ||||
| Alert channelsWhere alerts are routed (in-app banner is always on; alerts themselves require Advanced). | In-app only | + email + webhook | + email + webhook | + email + webhook |
| Position-history retentionHow long position + event data is retained on hot storage. Gov-tier retention is set in the bespoke contract — typical 12-year audit-grade with cold archive after 24 months. | 7 days | 90 days | 24 months | Custom (contract) |
| Extended data storage (add-on)Add years of position-history retention on top of your tier's default. Advanced: +1 year (£2/mo, £20/yr). Pro: +1 to +5 years, operator picks (£2–£7/mo; annual ≈ 10× monthly, ~17% off). Separate Stripe subscription, per device; cancel any time (30-day grace before older data is pruned). | Add-on | Add-on | Custom (contract) | |
| Operator seats includedLogged-in operators per tenant. Extra seats can be added at the rate listed in each tier card. | 1 seat | 3 seats | 5 seats | Unlimited |
| Invite issuing + My Invites dashboardOperators issue 8-character invite codes; lifecycle of redemptions visible in their dashboard. | ||||
| Hardware & connectivity | ||||
| K3K M2M SIM (add-on)Pre-paid data-only M2M SIMs sold by K3K. No contract, no phone number, no SMS-interception surface. £10/mo or £72/year (save 40%). Pop into any TKSTAR-family tracker after a one-time SMS configuration step. Available on every tier. | Add-on | Add-on | Add-on | Add-on |
| Security & compliance | ||||
| Mandatory 2FATOTP enrolment is required before the operator surface unlocks. WebAuthn / hardware-key support is in development for Gov. Trusted-device opt-in skips TOTP (password still required) for the duration listed; revocable per device from Settings → Trusted devices. | TOTP · 7-day device trust | TOTP · 7-day device trust | TOTP · 30-day device trust | TOTP (WebAuthn 🚧) · contract-defined trust |
| Audit hash chainAppend-only audit log; each entry includes SHA-256 of the previous so tampering is detectable. | ||||
| Encryption at restPostgres data encrypted at the storage layer; per-tenant secrets sealed with envelope encryption. | ||||
| UK / EU data residencyProduction data hosted in UK and EU regions only. Gov tier may pin to a UK-only host or on-prem deployment. | ||||
| Protective markingEvery artefact carries an OFFICIAL / OFFICIAL-SENSITIVE / SECRET marking. Display, export, sharing rules adjust. In development. | In dev | |||
| Per-org IP allowlistRestrict the operator UI and API to your own egress ranges. Configurable per-tenant, enforced at the edge. In development. | In dev | |||
| Mandatory annual training sign-offOperators record completion of your annual security training before sensitive surfaces unlock for the new period. In development. | In dev | |||
| Pseudonymised subjectsSubjects shown by handle until two-person unmask. Reduces incidental disclosure between operators. In development. | In dev | |||
| Independent inspector accessA read-only inspector role exposes the audit chain without granting operational access. Useful at IPCO / PCC review. In development. | In dev | |||
| On-prem deployment optionGov-tier customers can take the platform on-prem (single-host docker compose, or a Kubernetes manifest for a customer-owned cluster). Update cadence + support model set in the bespoke contract. | ||||
| Integration & access | ||||
| API access (read)Read API for positions, stops, trips, alerts, audit log. Bearer-token auth, rate-limited per key. In development. | In dev | In dev | ||

Gov — IPA-aware, by design.
Gov is the only tier that captures IPA Part 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 authorisations natively, runs the two-person unmask flow, stores the 12-year audit retention required for inspector review, and supports protective marking end-to-end. If you're bound by the regime, this is the plan you're looking at.
FAQ
Common questions.
Is the price really per device per month?
Yes — billed per allocated licence. Each tracker gets its own licence at one of the four tiers; you can mix tiers across your fleet and scale up or down anytime.
Are there caps or overage charges?
No. No caps on devices, cases, geofences, alerts, or operator actions. There's no 'additional devices' overage — every device's price is just its tier's per-device rate.
What's the minimum?
All three self-serve tiers (Basic / Advanced / Pro) start at one device. Gov is bespoke procurement via /gov.
Annual billing — what's the discount?
Annual billing saves ~30% on Basic, Advanced, and Pro (Basic £42/yr vs £60 annualised; Advanced £170/yr vs £240; Pro £294/yr vs £420). Gov annual terms are part of the bespoke contract.
Volume discount?
Yes — applied automatically on Basic / Advanced / Pro. 10+ devices: −10%, 50+ devices: −20%, 100+ devices: −25%. Stacks with annual billing.
What if I outgrow my current tier?
Move a device up a tier in-app. Pro-rated for the rest of the billing period. History and case folders move with the device.
Cancel any time?
Monthly subscriptions cancel at the end of the current billing period. Annual subscriptions run their term but auto-renew can be disabled at any point.
Does AI come bundled or as an add-on?
Bundled. Pro tier includes the full AI feature set — pattern-of-life intelligence, AI anomaly explanations, AI-narrated daily briefs, stop-purpose classification, conversational case AI, AI report drafting. Optional BYOK Anthropic key on Pro; required on Gov.
Do trackers I already own work?
If they're a TKSTAR-family device (TK911, TK905/906, TK806/816, TK915/925, TK919/901) the platform decodes them natively. Other models — ask us; the protocol package can usually accommodate.
Why isn't there a free trial?
Distribution is invite-only and we review every operator before they go live. The trial concept is replaced by a Welcome Month — a one-month credit applied to your first invoice when you join through an existing operator's invite.
